Finally today Rick hooked me up with a really cool blog!
First things first. My name is Ashley. I moved to NC when I was around 10 because my father worked for an army base in Pennsylvania, and they closed the base and he had to make a choice, moved to NC and have a job or stay in PA and be BROKE!!!! = (
We moved to NC in 98! I was 10 and the only thing that mattered to me was SPICE GIRLS! GIRL POWER!!! I just passed the 5th grade and heading into the 6th grade, middle school, make up, becoming a teenager. Middle school went to fast now that I think about it, but not fast enough when I was in there… lol! =D
The best thing about high school I can honestly say is…. Varsity Tennis and my internship I had in the summer of 04, and after those awesome and informational 2 months. I made up my mind that I wanted to become a Designer. I really wasnt sure what type of designer i wanted to become. In my senior year at Jack Britt High School, I took Advanced Sewing 2 and I thought I wanted to design clothes but I kept sewing myself to the clothes I was making instead to a straight seam. I took a couple of web classes through out high school and I found out that I really loved the internet and it was out there for me to make better. Better Designs… Better Looking! =D
Not even a month later from graduating from JB I started college in Raleigh ( 1 hour 45 mins away) at School of Communication Arts.I moved into a 3 bedroom 2 bath with two amazing girls named Chirsty & Kristina! The best year and six months I have ever had with roomies!!! They graduated in December and I moved into my own 1 bed and bath apt. I was working with my bbfe Lauren at her dad’s business. I was working a lot to pay bills and other needed things in my apt.
In June I went to the Promax/BDA conference in NYC @ the Hilton. Four days, 7 awesome people and 1 crazy cab driver! It was the best 4 
days of my life! I love NYC! It was so many different types of food, people, shopping and lots of walking around! The first day went by so slow. Everyone met @ my place that night and stayed up till 3 in the morning waiting for the van man. The van man came to my apt to get all of us. Our plane left at….umm… I think it was 7 or 8 but anyways… I fell asleep the whole way to NYC. Our place landed at Lugardo airport ( I dont think I spelled it right ). Everyone is stading around waiting for all of our bags to come off the plane. Everyone gets their bags and im like wait a min ? Where is my bag with the handle? Waited for about 10 mins to see if it came around again. and it didnt!!!! =( I was so upset! We tried to ask one of the people that worked at the air port, but she didnt speak any english! So that didnt help me at all. Finally I found the lost and found. I had to fill out a long form. By the end of the night I had my bag! We walked around time square 4ever! At 5 we went to the David Letterman Show. Amazing! Is all I can say, even though I feel asleep for a while, it was good!
OMGosh I just noticed that my blog is getting kind of long! Sorry about that! I could write forever when I have something to write about. =D
Long story short. NYC was amazing!!! = D I want to move there one day! The day I came back from I graduated from SCA ! It was liberating!
I applied for a job at ARC Design and I had an interview that Monday. Awesome awesome people that i work with!!!! The company is amazing and is taking Fayetteville by storm!!!
